We often encourage our wedding parties to check in a day or so before the ceremony, in order to unwind and get a chance to properly settle in. Enjoy all the farm has to offer, and ready yourself for a truly magnificent wedding!
This idea provides the best opportunity for your friends and family to, shall we say “own” your venue for a while whilst you get to unwind and get comfortable with the people and place that will make your day so super special. Our wedding co-coordinator can recommend any number of service providers from flowers, free-form coverings, photographers, gazebos, draping, décor, music and much more. We’ve even had the groom fly in by helicopter!
Seasons Restaurant offers a variety of menus that can be tailor-made to suit your specific wishes. Brunch and Lunch Menus are for weekday and Friday weddings only. Since we are able to provide a variety of food styles and menus, outside caterers are only allowed under exceptional circumstances.
Diemersfontein is fully licensed and a full bar can be set up for your function. We offer our own award-winning red and white wine varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Pinotage, Viognier, as well as our popular blends, Summers Lease, Thokozani Red, White and Rose. Sparkling wine and champagne may be brought in by arrangement, and a corkage fee will apply. Since we are a wine estate, Diemersfontein will offer you a special discount on the wines for your event. We regret that no other wine may be brought in to your function.
Functions in our garden are truly memorable occasions. Surrounded by our majestic mountain ranges and rolling farmlands as the backdrop, it is certainly one of the most beautiful places to enjoy your special event. Our hospitality team can cater for up to 200 people in the garden.
Our banqueting venue accommodates 80 people, including dancing area, and 100 people without.
