THE ICONIC PINOTAGE ON TAP RETURNS TO DIEMERSFONTEIN – NOW FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Since its inception in 2002, Pinotage on Tap has become an annual institution for wine lovers – a highlight on the wine calendar and a ‘must attend’ event. The pandemic of 2020 and resulting uncertainty brought about the temporary hibernation of this much-loved festival.

We are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return of our iconic celebration – Pinotage on Tap – with a new approach…

Much like our event, our loyal fans (and their families) have grown over the years, posing a challenge as the ‘free-flowing’ alcohol from before prohibited anyone under the legal drinking age to attend.

While Pinotage still flows from the barrels, this year’s event has been reimagined with a warm, family-friendly and responsible atmosphere. Wine will be served using ‘barrel pour’ coupons included with your ticket – allowing you to bring the whole crew along for a day in the winelands. For the really thirsty and die-hard attendees, additional coupons can be purchased on the day.

The music lineup promises a full day of top South African talent, including performances by Margot & Loki Rothman, Gerhard Steyn, Pieter Smith, Lisie Basson, Newton, Dirk van der Westhuizen, and the ever-popular Majozi. Whether you’re grooving on the lawn or lounging in VIP, there’s a beat for everyone.

Ticket Options:

  • VIP Access – R1500pp

Includes unlimited wine and food, access to the exclusive VIP lounge with a private bar, and all the comfort you could ask for.

  • General Access – R395pp

Includes Pinotage ‘barrel pour’ coupons, a Pinotage on Tap glass, and a goodie bag to take home.

  • Kids under 12 – R150pp

Entertainment, space to play, and a safe environment to enjoy the day with the family.

“This event is part of the Diemersfontein DNA,” says Esmeralda De Beer, Marketing Director of Diemersfontein. “It’s always been about good wine, great people, and the magic that happens when the two come together. With this year’s revival of POT, we’re excited to be expanding the experience and festivities to include all generations.”

Tickets are limited and will go on sale soon. Round up your friends and family, and don’t miss the revival of Pinotage on Tap – a celebration of music, memory-making, and South Africa’s homegrown hero grape.
