Already more than a year has passed since the opening of our new tasting venue and deli, PROE, and it is with great pride and excitement that we can announce the latest offering of Diemersfontein hospitality.
Not only would you now be able to feast on our abundant platters, filled with locally sourced produce, but we have just released a brand-new menu, served Wednesdays – Sundays, 11:00 – 16:00.
Home-made burgers, complete with a delicious sourdough bun, freshly made by newly appointed chef Zenobia Martin, will have you coming back for more. Fillet steak cooked to perfection and mouth-watering pasta dishes will delight your palate, but the ‘piece de resistance’ of Zenobia’s menu is her ice-cream.
Yes, there is everyone’s favourite flavour, vanilla, but it’s the creamy turmeric, ginger, honey and lemon ice cream that will put you on a sensory adventure, while cooling the body and warming your heart. Seeing that you are visiting the home of the original coffee/chocolate style Pinotage, why not indulge in the adult ice-cream made with this uber popular wine?
