YIELD: 8 ton/ha
Grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness and vinified separately. Fermentation happened in tanks over 4-6 days, pressed put back into tank to mature. The different varieties matured separately in tanks on a combination of French oak staves and barrels until they were blended, stabilized and bottled.
A combination of red fruit and blackcurrant rich aromas with a touch of clove and spice on the nose. The fruit richness follows onto the palate with a soft tannin structure.
This versatile wine is perfect on its own, but make sure to take it with to your next picnic with the basket filled with charcuterie, paté and terrines, brie and a generous piece of camembert.
